Another airline to charge extra for legroom 9/03/2010 10:33:00 AM, Gemma Pitcher Continental Airlines has announced that it will join Qantas and Virgin Atlantic in charging over $100 for passengers to book emergency exit rows (you know, the ones with the extra legroom and the scary looking levers next to them).

Woman banned from flying for refusing scan A woman who refused to be subjected to a full body scan at a UK airport, citing religious reasons, was refused her seat on an international flight. This is thought to be the first time a would-be passenger has been denied travel after controversial full body scanners have been introduced at major airports globally.
