Schoolgirl barred from flying with violin
Oh, you know how we love a good RyanAir yarn on the Armchair Traveller. Spirit Airlines, a budget carrier in the States, has introduced a pay-to-carry-on policy on all of their flights, effective this month. Though still allowed one item that must fit underneath the seat in front of you, passengers now have to pay $34 to put something in the overhead bin if they pay for it online, or an hefty $51 if you decide to use the compartment when you get to the gate. The eff?

The Snazzy Napper: you know you want one
It really is so bad that it's good. Let me introduce you to the Snazzy Napper, an 'innovative' travel must-have that has gone viral due to it's craptasticness. Basically the Snazzy Napper is a blanket ... that you attach to your face. And beneath the veil of your blankie/burqa you are meant to be able to experience relaxation at its greatest, without the hassle of sunlight. And as the Snazzy Napper has a "unique" pouch for your iThing and keys, it is a traveller's dream come true.
